What happens if I return a product that was in an order I used Referral Credits for?

Can I use my Referral Credits on a subscription order?

Yes. You can use Referral Credits for the initial order, but then you must enter your credit card information for subsequent subscriptions orders.

Can I redeem Referral Credits to a credit card?

No. Referral Credits can only be applied when purchasing products.

Can Referral Credits be used if I place an order via telephone?

No. Referral Credits can only be redeemed via an online purchase; Referral Credits can’t be redeemed via the telephone.

How do I redeem the $25 product credit that my friend sent me?

Click on the Referral Program invitation link that you were sent via email. After you create your new account on Thorne.com, your $25 product credit is available for use. Please note that your $25 product credit can only be applied to your first purchase; any unused balance on the product credit from your first purchase is not eligible for future orders. To apply your $25 to a web order, click Apply Referral credits at the Payment tab during checkout. This will populate the $25 in a referral window; click Apply again to have the $25 deducted from your total.

I was referred by a friend using the Referral Program. If my first order total is less than $25, can I use the remaining balance on my next order?

No. The entire amount of your $25 product credit will be applied to your first order, so any remaining balance will expire if you don’t use it all. However, you will be immediately eligible to start referring your friends so you can earn your own $25 Referral Credits.

What happens if I use the Referral Program to refer a friend who already has a Thorne account?

You won’t be able to send an invitation email if that person already has a Thorne account. If this does happen, a message will notify you that the email address is already associated with a Thorne account.

How will I know when my Referral Credits are about to expire?

Referral Credits expire 90 days from the shipping date of your referred friend’s first order. You will receive an email when your unused Referral Credits are about to expire. In your Account’s "Referral Credits" tab, there will be a countdown that indicates how long you have to use your various Referral Credits.

Who is eligible to participate in the Referral Program?

The customer must:
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Reside in the United States
  • Pay retail pricing
  • Have made a purchase from Thorne.com
