Can I use my Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for a Thorne test?
When you order a Thorne health test on thorne.com, your test is authorized by a physician, which generally makes it eligible for FSA/HSA use. Thorne also partners with TrueMed, which helps determine eligibility and enables you to pay with your FSA or HSA at checkout when qualified. Because coverage can vary by plan, we still recommend confirming eligibility with your FSA/HSA provider prior to purchase if reimbursement is important to you.
If I accidently damage or lose a component in my Gut Health Test, can I get a new one?
Yes. Please contact Thorne and we will send you a replacement kit for a $25.00 shipping and handling fee. Be sure to update your activation code if you send back the tube to the new kit, as this code is linked to your name and results.
Do I need to make an account with the lab to get a blood draw?
There is no need to make an account with the lab, but we do suggest making an appointment for your draw! By registering an account with Thorne and purchasing the Biological Age test, the lab will know who you are and what blood to draw. Your results will show up in your Thorne account in 3-7 days.
I missed my blood appointment for Biological Age Test. What do I do?
Don’t worry, there is no penalty. You have two options: you can reschedule or show up as a “walk-in” at the lab and wait for the next available phlebotomist.
Can you recommend a health-care practitioner who I can consult with?
Yes, Thorne has an extensive network of health-care practitioners. Click here to access our health-care practitioner network. You only need to enter your zip code and the search results will show health-care practitioners located in your area.
How long does it take to get my test results?
After receiving your completed online order, we will ship your test within 2 business days. You can expect to receive your kit within 3-5 business days, barring any unforeseen issues. After you have collected your samples, packaged them up, and mailed them back, it will take another 3-7 business days for your samples to reach the lab. We will then analyze your test results, and your results will be available on the Thorne dashboard within 8-10 business days.

How do I respond to the questions on the lab website link when scheduling my appointment for Biological Age Test?
On the lab website page, first click “Purchased my own test”. When asked “what type of testing do you need?” click “all other tests”. When asked, “did you already purchased a test from the collection lab?” Because Thorne has already created the lab order for you – you can click ‘Yes.’ Then enter your zip code and follow instructions for making an appointment or doing a walk-in visit. Watch this video for the details explained.
Will the lab give me a receipt from my blood draw for Biological Age Test?
You are not going to leave your blood draw appointment with any paperwork. Your results will show in your Thorne portal in 3-7 days.
One of my blood results from Biological Age Test says TNP. What happened and what do I do?
It’s likely that this is a mistake from the lab in the draw or processing of your blood. But in the small chance there is, TNP will show in a value’s place as it is undetermined. Although you may not have a result for that biomarker, your Biological Age report is still able to be made with accuracy and reliability.
